My name is Jacky, and I am an aspiring Makeup Artist. Most of you may know me from YouTube as [CosmetiqueBoutique]. I started falling in love with the art of makeup when I was 15 years old and since then I don't think I would want to pursue any other carrier in life. Doing makeup is a way of not only expressing myself, but others as well. Just that satisfaction of making someone feel beautiful is priceless. You should love yourself for you and nothing less. My philosophy in life has always been: "The most Beautiful type of beauty is the beauty to love who you are inside and out."

Just posted a new makeup tutorial

Makeup Tip of the Day

Trying to get the perfect line on the upper lash line? Well here is a useful tip to help prevent squiggly lines. First start off with a matte black eyeshadow and a eyeliner brush. Apply on upper lash line, then go over line with a black eye pencil. This technique helps you achieve a straighter line and gives you practice. Use it as a guideline when applying liquid liner.

Makeup Tip of the Day

Applying a moisturizer prior to your face application is so important. Though one tip I found works for me, is applying a sunscreen with SPF. Not only is this protecting your skin from the UV rays, but also gives you a more finished, matte, airbrushed look. Try it out!

Makeup Tip of the Day

Before applying foundation, apply a toner all over the face with a cotton ball. This will help prevent oily skin throughout the day and also help your makeup stay fresh all day. (Toner I use is by Olay and is called Refreshining Toner)

When applying mascara, clean your wand off with a paper towel after every use. This will help keep the wand clean and when applying your mascara your lashes will be clump free.
